Asian football is too large, too diverse and too important to be contained within a single podcast.
For almost a decade, The Asian Game Podcast has brought together voices from across the continent to discuss the stories shaping the game. As The Asian Game enters its next era, that original programme will now sit at the centre of a broader and more ambitious audio network.
The Asian Game Audio Network brings together six distinct programmes, each with its own identity, purpose and area of expertise.
From national teams and continental club competitions to women’s football, long-form interviews and the journey toward the 2027 Asian Cup, the network will provide more focused, consistent and comprehensive coverage of football across Asia.
Each show will stand on its own, while sharing the same editorial commitment: to move beyond results and headlines, provide informed context and tell the stories of Asian football with depth, care and understanding.
Six shows. One continental conversation.
The Asian Game Podcast
The flagship show of the network, focused on the biggest themes, debates and stories shaping football across Asia. Rather than simply recapping results, each episode takes a broader view – using one major topic as the starting point for deeper discussion, analysis and perspective on the state of the game.
Continental Corner
The Asian Game’s dedicated home for AFC club football, covering the Champions League Elite, Champions League Two, Challenge League and Women’s Champions League. The show follows the teams, players and storylines defining the continental game, while also exploring the tactical, structural and cultural trends shaping club football across Asia.
The International Window
A dedicated show for the Asian international game, from World Cup and Asian Cup qualification to regional tournaments and the proposed AFC Nations League. The focus goes beyond results to examine how national teams evolve, compete and build identity across a continent with vastly different football cultures and ambitions.
Road to Riyadh
The Asian Game’s dedicated AFC Asian Cup podcast, following the journey towards Saudi Arabia 2027. In the lead-up, the show will track the teams, players, coaches and major storylines shaping the tournament before shifting into a more frequent, daily format once the Asian Cup itself gets underway.
From Dreams to Goals
Hosted by Gina Bagnulo and Anirudh Nair, From Dreams to Goals is The Asian Game’s dedicated women’s football podcast. Combining discussion of the major issues and talking points with interviews featuring players, coaches and other key voices, it gives the women’s game in Asia a consistent, informed and focused platform.
Tunnel Vision
Hosted by Ryan Walters, Tunnel Vision is The Asian Game’s long-form interview series, built around the people who shape football across Asia. Through in-depth conversations with players, coaches, administrators and other key figures, the show explores the journeys, setbacks, breakthroughs and defining moments behind careers in the game.
The new network is not about producing more audio simply for the sake of volume. It is about creating clearer programmes with recognisable purposes, knowledgeable voices and strong connections to The Asian Game’s wider editorial coverage.
Episodes will inform written features, analysis, social discussion and video, while the website will provide listeners with deeper context and clear pathways between related stories and shows.
Together, the six programmes represent a more complete expression of what The Asian Game exists to do:
Tell the stories of football across the continent – through an Asian lens.
